EXPERIMENTAL GROUP

Born in 2007 with the launch of the Experimental Cocktail Club in Paris, the Experimental Group is an international hospitality brand and operator founded by three passionate French entrepreneurs (Romée de Goriainoff, Pierre- Charles Cros and Olivier Bon) with complementary skills. Inspired by the speakeasies of New York City and with a focus on top quality ingredients in a contemporary atmosphere, “ECC” triggered a drinking revolution in France. Thereafter, the group expanded internationally with the opening of more than 18 restaurant and lounge concepts in Paris, London, New York and Ibiza. In every location, the Experimental brand resonates with its focus on modern design and excellent Food and Beverage. This allows the sites to attract both international visitors and locals to create a unique atmosphere.

Today, the Experimental Group is transforming the hotel industry with a unique proposition in the affordable luxury hospitality sector: unique and intimate hotels which feel simultaneously “local” and “Experimental”. With a great eye to spot new locations, the Group opened in 2015 its first hotel the 37-rooms Grand Pigalle Hotel in the up and coming district of Pigalle in Paris. The Experimental Group opened two new exciting hotels in 2017. The Henrietta Hotel in London’s Covent Garden, featuring a restaurant in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Ollie Dabbous, and the 52-rooms Grands Boulevards Hotel on the buzzy Boulevard Poissonnière in Paris.

The partnership between NEO and the Experimental Group will focus on the international roll out of boutique hotel in key urban and resort locations.
